Saving Sea Turtles with Solar-Powered Fishing Nets

A team from Arizona State University has developed solar-powered light buoys that charge with sunlight and function like traditional buoys.
The LED lights can be threaded onto the float line and flash on and off to conserve energy, staying on for up to five days without sunlight.
