On November 6, Stranger Things Day, the creators unveiled the first five minutes of the highly anticipated Stranger Things season 5 premiere, surprising and exciting fans worldwide. The clip quickly went viral across social media platforms and received a very positive response from viewers.

The teaser transports viewers back to 1983, depicting 12-year-old Will hiding in Castle Byers just before he goes missing. Cold and pale, he can be heard singing The Clash’s song Should I Stay Or Should I Go.
As Will hides, a demogorgon discovers him and attacks. Will fires his rifle at the creature and runs desperately to escape. He finds a tree in the Upside Down dimension and climbs it frantically.
The demogorgon follows him up the tree. In a courageous moment, Will attempts to jump to another tree but fails to grip it properly and falls heavily to the ground.
