Remembrance Day Poppy Craft at Haringey Libraries
Young children and their families can participate in Remembrance Day activities on Tuesday, 11 November 2025 across several Haringey libraries. Poppy craft sessions will be held at:
- Hornsey Library (3:30pm–4:30pm)
- Marcus Garvey Library (3:30pm–4:30pm)
- Muswell Hill Library (3:45pm–4:45pm)
This craft is designed for children aged three and above. After making their poppies, participants can pin them on Remembrance Day boards at Hornsey or Marcus Garvey libraries.
Additionally, families can create a field of poppies at Stroud Green and Harringay Library on Monday, 17 November 2025, from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. This session is suitable for children aged five and older.

Comic Art Masterclasses with Kevin F Sutherland, known for Beano and Marvel, will take place at Wood Green Library on Saturday, 22 November 2025:
- 10:30am–12:30pm
- 2:00pm–4:00pm
Participants will create a comic and caricature in two hours.

Chess Sessions are available for all levels at these locations:
- Hornsey Library: Thursdays, 3:30pm–6pm (bring your own board)
- Marcus Garvey Library: Tuesdays, 3:30pm–5pm (boards available on request, under 16s must be supervised)
- St Ann’s Library: Mondays, 4pm–5pm (term time only, max 12 children per session, ages 7–16)
