Market Prices and Summer Surge
In May 2025, low consumption compared to supply led to a market imbalance, causing prices to drop by 33% from the previous year and fall slightly below the five-year average by 4%. In June, commercial activity remained weak. Over the summer, prices increased, especially in August, rising 19% higher than last year and 15% above the five-year average, due to hot weather and disease-related production slump.
