Florida Atlantic men's basketball team secured their first win of the season against Boston College on Monday night, with guard Yohann Sissoko hitting a game-saving three-pointer in overtime, winning 83-78.
The game was played in front of a sold-out Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena, marking the third time a power conference opponent has visited "The Elly" in four years.
"I don't know that this [game] was pretty, maybe that's just part of it, but what our guys did show is some real fight and resolve," said head coach John Jakus.
Following a 42-point win against Florida Tech, with guard Devin Vanterpool scoring 24 points, the team was eager to continue their winning streak at home.
