Clay-Battelle's Aaron LaPoe: A Coach's Strength
Aaron LaPoe, head coach of the Clay-Battelle football team, is on the verge of leading his team to the school's highest-ever state ranking.
LaPoe's experience as a coach is not new, having previously been the offensive line coach at Capital High when they won the state championship.
Capital High had just ended a run of four consecutive state Class AAA state titles by Martinsburg and knocked off South Charleston, 55-15, for the state championship.
