A cold front moved through Sunday evening, bringing a noticeable drop in temperatures for the start of the work week, according to Chief Meteorologist Emily Roehler.
Along with the cool down, a shift in winds and a gusty north wind picked up in the Metro around 8PM, gradually lightening up through Monday.
Monday and Tuesday will be much cooler, with many areas experiencing temperatures in the 60s, and possibly even some 50s on Tuesday.
Winds pick back up Wednesday and Thursday, warming up to the 70s to near 80s for a few days before cooler air moves back in around the weekend and next week.
