ICE Detains Undocumented Immigrant in Southern Illinois
Jose Jeronimo Guardian, a 48-year-old undocumented immigrant, was detained by ICE agents at the Clinton County Courthouse in Carlyle, Illinois.
Guardian had lived in the US for over 20 years, working as a farm picker and rancher, and was attempting to resolve a traffic court case unrelated to his immigration status.
They are literally targeting people.
- Guardian was taken into custody in handcuffs by agents who declined to identify themselves.
- His daughter, Isabel Guardian, stated that her father was trying to resolve the traffic case before applying for a Green Card.
