The Robert Parker Coffin Bridge in Long Grove has been struck by a large trailer, marking at least the 69th time the bridge has been hit.
The incident occurred on Thursday around 10:50 p.m. and was partially caught on surveillance video by Neumann’s Cigars and More.
Neumann’s Cigars and More was alerted to the hit by their nighttime security service.
The bridge was previously hit in June by a box truck and on May 20 by another box truck belonging to Northwest Trucks Inc.
No comment from authorities or the driver was available.
