The 70th Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated with pride and cultural splendor at St Aloysius PU College.

Kannada Rajyotsava, commemorates the unification of all Kannada-speaking regions into the state of Karnataka in 1956, celebrating the rich heritage, language, culture, and identity of Karnataka.

Janet Pinto, head of the department of Kannada, delivered the welcome address, while the chief guest, Shashiraj Rao Kavoor, lawyer and composer, hoisted the flag.

The PUC years are a memorable and formative phase of life, where students should value both academics and culture.
