Documentary 'Pep Banned' Recalls UVa's Humorous Past
A new documentary, "Pep Banned," captures a moment in time when the University of Virginia (UVa) was a more irreverent place.
The film, directed by Chris Farina, was recognized at the Virginia Film Festival, where his children, Mathew and Ella Farina, accepted the Baliles Founder's Award on his behalf.
The documentary harkens back to a time when UVa had a sense of humor, before "Grounds" was part of the vernacular and the Cavaliers were winning football games.
