A heated debate emerged during the second mayoral debate over three ballot measures related to housing laws.
Andrew Cuomo expressed support for the measures, while Curtis Sliwa vehemently denounced them.
"I'm appreciative that those measures will be on the ballot and that New Yorkers will be able to cast their votes,"
said Zohran Mamdani, who faced pressure from Cuomo and Sliwa to clarify his stance.
When asked directly by moderator Errol Louis,
"Do you support the three ballot amendments?"Mamdani replied,
"I have not yet taken a position on those ballot amendments."
Cuomo and Sliwa responded with derision.
