In 2015, Kevin Rudd was appointed inaugural president of the Asia Society Policy Institute, a self-described “think–do tank” dedicated to resolving policy challenges within Asia and between Asia and the West.
The institute, founded by John D. Rockefeller III in 1956, was a welcome opportunity for the former Australian prime minister.
By 2021, Rudd added the titles president and CEO of the Asia Society to his CV.
