Billy Strings Entices Over Three Nights in Huntsville
Billy Strings performed at The Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, Ala. on Friday and Saturday nights.
The concerts followed the band's first night of songs in Rocket City, which featured particular compositions that had been revived after a period of dormancy.
Similarly, the ensemble played more tunes during their weekend activities, drawing on classic bluegrass tropes such as rail travel, love and loss, and rural life.
The group's Friday night set included covers like
"The Train That Carried My Girl From Town"and
"Black Mountain Rag", a feature of the frontman's 2016 self-titled EP.
