Nedbank's Fintech Deal Approved
Nedbank has received approval from the Competition Commission to acquire iKhokha for $90 million.
The deal, worth R1.65 billion, is one of the country's biggest fintech transactions.
The Commission has recommended that the Tribunal approves the proposed transaction whereby Nedbank intends to acquire iKhokha, without conditions.
- The Competition Tribunal is expected to approve the transaction in the next few weeks.
- Once completed, it will be the second largest fintech acquisition in South Africa.
