Centre to Support Mango Farmers Affected by Price Drop
Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited ICAR–KVK Vellore, Tamil Nadu, as part of his initiative.
He assured that all eligible farmers will be linked to the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for maximum benefit.
Efforts will be made to set up value-addition units to address the price decline caused by surplus mango production.
He visited the ICAR–Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, on October 25, 2025, as part of his “One Agriculture - One Nation - One Team” initiative.
