Getting a Cut for a Cause at Sault Salon

A fundraiser at Catherine's Hairstyling & Barbershop has generated more than $15,000 for Sault Ste. Marie charities.

During the "Cuts for the Cause" event, five stylists donated their earnings to help the charity, with owner Catherine O'Donnell estimating the total amount raised.

The event benefited organizations such as the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Soup Kitchen Community Centre, and Algoma Residential Community Hospice.
