David and Tanya Idzan, season-ticket holders for seven years, won $254,540 at the Edmonton Oilers' playoff game against the San Jose Sharks.
Despite the team's 3-2 overtime loss, the couple left with a significant prize after buying $80 worth of 50/50 raffle tickets.
"We buy $40 worth of raffles every game," David Idzan said. "We bought $80 last night."
