Laurence Fishburne's Interest in the MCU Reboot
Laurence Fishburne expressed his desire to join the cast of Kevin Feige's reboot of the X-Men as Professor X.
Speaking at a recent panel celebrating The Matrix at New York Comic Con, Fishburne stated:
“I know that they’re talking about the X-Men now,”and revealed his interest in taking on the role of Professor X.
Fishburne is already part of the MCU, playing the role of Dr. Bill Foster, aka Giant Man, and a mentor to Ghost in the film Ant-Man and The Wasp.
In contrast, Fishburne has no interest in joining the Star Wars movie franchise, saying
“No, I’m good.”
