Recognition Well Deserved
California will honor the 2005 PSAC football team, as well as recently retired baseball coach Michael Conte and softball coach Rick Bertagnolli, during the Homecoming game.
The 2005 Vulcan football team, under John Luckhardt, had a successful season, winning all but two games. Notably, Antoine Bagwell scored the most touchdowns, with final scores in the 80s.
This team's achievement is especially significant, as it built upon the foundation laid by the team that led the Vulcans to their first championship in 1984.
California will honor these individuals for their impact on the Vulcan athletics program.
