A34 Updates: Huge 98-Metre-Long Wide Load in North Staffordshire
Police have been assisting with the transportation of an abnormal load, which has passed through North Staffordshire.
The load is currently paused at The Harvester near Trentham to allow traffic to clear and will resume its journey towards Newcastle at 12:25hrs on the A34.
Motorists are advised to adjust their route if traveling through Stone, Newcastle, and Butt Lane, and to be courteous and understanding as the load makes its way to Cheshire.
The load will proceed in a 'contraflow' manner after Walton island and then rejoin the correct side at Darlaston as it heads to Newcastle.
