Hawaiian Airlines' Final Flight with HA Callsign
Hawaiian Airlines is saying goodbye to its HA callsign after almost 100 years of existence.
The commemorative flight, HA 866, will take off on October 31, marking the end of Hawaiian's independent operations as the company merges with Alaska Airlines.
- Alaska Airlines reached a deal to purchase Hawaiian Airlines for approximately $1.9 billion.
- Alaska Air will acquire the airline for $18 per share cash and take on Hawaiian’s $0.9 billion net debt.
The historic Hawaiian Airlines code is slated to disappear by around April 2026 as booking and branding begin to consolidate.
