Man Sucker Punched by Stranger Near Fenway

Boston Police are seeking a suspect who allegedly sucker punched a stranger outside of Fenway, causing a brain bleed.

On the 28th, police received a report of an aggravated assault in progress outside of Loretta’s Last Call on Lansdowne Street. The victim, Jack Farrell, 22, was punched in the face and fell to the ground in a crosswalk, according to a video obtained by police.

Emergency personnel found Farrell laying on the ground unresponsive with a significant amount of blood coming out of his nose and mouth, police say. The suspect was seen leaving the scene towards Brookline Avenue on foot, wearing a gray hoodie.

Farrell was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but his family says he has a long road to recovery, which will take several months.

The victim will take several months to heal.
