Yankees Overhaul Coaching Staff
The New York Yankees have begun a major shakeup of Aaron Boone's coaching staff after another postseason failure.
Two of Boone's longest-serving assistants, Mike Harkey and Travis Chapman, have been let go. Harkey, the bullpen coach, and Chapman, the first base coach, will not return.

Additionally, hitting coach James Rowson and third base coach Luis Rojas are exploring managerial jobs elsewhere, which may lead to further changes.
The overhaul marks the most sweeping set of changes since Boone took over as Yankees manager in 2018.
Aaron Boone is expected to return for his ninth season, but the core of his coaching group will be dramatically altered.
