Amarillo High Volleyball Aims to Stay Undefeated
The Amarillo High Sandies remain the only undefeated volleyball team in District 3-5A, seeking to extend their streak against Tascosa on Tuesday.
Currently, Tascosa's Lady Rebels boast an 11-1 district record, with their sole loss coming from Amarillo High in September. They have swept all other district teams.
“The last time we played them, we struggled with defending the middle a little bit and so I think we’ve got to make some adjustments on that side and I think we have in practice,”
said Haleigh Burns, Amarillo High's head volleyball coach, emphasizing the need for improvement to defeat Tascosa.
Amarillo High is set to host Tascosa, with both teams having strengthened since their last encounter.
