The fourth Twenty20 international between New Zealand and the West Indies was abandoned due to rain on Monday after less than seven overs of play. West Indies were batting and had reached 38-1 off 6.3 overs.
The match was stopped at Nelson’s Saxton Oval following a second rain interruption. Alick Athanaze, who scored 21 runs, was the only wicket to fall when he misplayed a James Neesham delivery and was caught by Daryl Mitchell.

New Zealand currently leads the series 2-1, with the final and deciding match scheduled for Thursday in Dunedin.
"New Zealand lost the opening match of the series at Auckland’s Eden Park by seven runs but won game two at the same venue by three runs. It won the third match in Nelson by nine runs on Sunday."
