K-Pop star HyunA experienced a frightening moment during her performance at the Waterbomb Festival in Macau on Sunday evening. While singing her 2011 hit “Bubble Pop,” she suddenly stopped and collapsed on stage. Her back dancers quickly came to her aid before a bodyguard carried her off the stage.
Fans expressed widespread concern on social media before HyunA provided an update via Instagram, reassuring everyone that she was feeling better. She shared:
“It was a short break between performances, but I wanted to show you my best. I don’t remember anything that happened, and I feel like I wasn’t professional.”
She added a message of gratitude and comfort to her supporters:
“I just want to say thank you for admiring, cherishing, and loving me since I was very young, even though I’ve always been lacking. Don’t worry about me.”
HyunA collapsed on stage due to her vasovagal syncope condition but reassured fans that she is recovering well and thanked them for their support.
