The Harvard Crimson earned the Stats Perform FCS National Team of the Week honor following Week 10 games. This recognition is part of the weekly national player and team awards given during the FCS regular season leading up to the annual season-ending Stats Perform FCS National Awards Show.
These players and unit were selected as the Stats Perform FCS National Players of the Week for their outstanding performances during last weekend’s college football games.
Monmouth’s Rodney Nelson, who has helped his team to an 8-1 record, posted career highs with 34 carries, 244 rushing yards, and 306 all-purpose yards. He scored two rushing touchdowns in Monmouth's 35-7 CAA victory at Bryant.
Nelson's 49- and 13-yard receptions set up drives that ended with teammates scoring touchdowns. His all-purpose yardage is the second highest by any FCS player this season. He leads the nation with eight games having 100+ rushing yards and three games exceeding 200 rushing yards.
“His all-purpose yards are the second most by an FCS player this season, and he’s first in games with 100+ rushing yards (eight) and 200+ rushing yards (three).”
