Hayley Williams Drops New Track
Hayley Williams has returned with a fresh single titled “Showbiz.” The song introduces her next era as it coincides with the long-awaited physical release of her album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party. Fans can now order copies of the record through select outlets.
Driven by crisp percussion, shimmering synths, and a vocoder-infused chorus, “Showbiz” leans into a light, romantic indie pop aesthetic. The polished production by Williams and longtime collaborator Daniel James evokes the rhythmic charm of the band Phoenix — an intentional touch, since Williams sampled Phoenix’s 2017 hit “Fior di Latte” on her recent track “Love Me Different.”

Although no official tour dates have been announced, hints suggest a global tour is in development. On the same site where she previously surprise-released Ego Death, a hidden image surfaced in a “trash” folder showing a potential world tour plan — handwritten on paper next to a photo of her dog. The list of stops includes major cities like Atlanta, Toronto, Nashville, Chicago, Austin, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, and several others in North America, plus a few UK and European shows.
“Showbiz” follows her earlier single “Good Ol’ Days,” and both are featured on the physical editions of Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.
