Alex, partner of former AFL star Brendan Fevola, shared the sad news on social media, describing her father as “indestructible” and “young at heart.”
“A few days ago I lost my Dad. It has been so difficult to come to terms with. My Dad seemed indestructible, young at heart and full of life. RIP Dad, you will be missed forever, always in my heart.”

Brendan expressed his grief by recalling Keith’s humor and warmth:
“We are going to miss your humour and quick wit. I’m gonna miss having a cold one with you, mate. Most of all the girls will miss the love their granddad gave them, and Alex the love, friendship and trust you both had with each other till the very end – the long chats that ended in laughter. Love ya, mate.”
Family and Shared Grief
Alex and Brendan, who divorced in 2014 before rekindling their relationship two years later, have four daughters: Mia, Leni, Lulu, and Tobi. Mia is Brendan’s stepdaughter.
All four daughters shared heartfelt messages for their grandfather. Mia wrote:
“On Friday, heaven gained an angel. Rest in peace, granddad, love you forever. Never failed to make us laugh.”
