Steven Neuhaus was re-elected as Orange County Executive, beginning a new four-year term. The unofficial vote totals were:
- Steven Neuhaus (incumbent, Republican): 39,429 (57.9%)
- Michael Sussman (Democrat): 28,613 (42.1%)
District Attorney
David Hoovler won re-election as Orange County District Attorney, also securing a four-year term. The unofficial vote tally showed:
- David Hoovler (incumbent, Republican): 31,883 (53.2%)
- Alan Joseph (Democrat): 28,082 (46.8%)
New York Supreme Court Justice, 9th Judicial District
Eight candidates competed for four available seats on the New York Supreme Court in the Ninth Judicial District. This district encompasses Orange County as well as Dutchess, Putnam, Rockland, and Westchester counties.
