Community Day Offers Free Movies and Affordable Snacks in Ontario
Cineplex is celebrating its 13th annual Community Day with free movie screenings and gaming events across Ontario. Taking place on November 15, the event invites film fans to enjoy movies at no cost in participating Cineplex theatres.

This year’s Community Day also includes free access to games at select The Rec Room and Playdium locations, providing visitors with a chance to play and compete.
“Cineplex Community Day is consistently one of my favourite days of the year, as we welcome guests from communities across the country to join us for a morning of free movies or to engage in some friendly competition at The Rec Room or Playdium,” said Ellis Jacob, president and CEO of Cineplex.
Ticket Distribution and Movie Lineup
- Movie tickets are available only in-theatre starting at 9 a.m., on a first-come, first-served basis.

Snack Deals and Arcade Offers
Moviegoers can enjoy discounted snacks such as regular popcorn, regular drinks, and select candies for $3 plus tax until 11 a.m. Additionally, Cineplex XSCAPE locations will provide free 30-minute arcade play tokens either before or after the films.
