Cineplex Community Day 2025: Free Movies and Gaming on November 15
Celebrate Community Day on Saturday, November 15, with a morning of free movies and gaming at local Cineplex theatres, The Rec Room, Playdiums, and XSCAPE locations.
Free Movie Screenings
Enjoy a complimentary movie at Cineplex theatres featuring family-friendly titles from Universal Pictures, including:
- Minions: The Rise of Gru
- Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
- Sing 2
- The Wild Robot
Special Concession Pricing
During the event morning, select concession items such as regular popcorn, drinks, and candy will be available for $3 each, plus tax.
Free Gaming Opportunities
Visitors to XSCAPE locations can enjoy 30 minutes of complimentary non-redemption gaming.
The Rec Room and Playdium venues open at 9:00 a.m., offering free one-hour non-redemption game bands until noon.
- The Rec Room will offer fries and mini donuts for $3 each.
- Playdium will have fries, popcorn, drinks, and candy priced at $3 each.
Supporting BGC Canada
One dollar from every food and beverage purchase, XSCAPE playcard sale or reload, and game band transaction at The Rec Room and Playdium will be donated to BGC Canada (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada).
One dollar from each concession order of select items, including popcorn, soft drinks, and candy purchased during the event, will also be donated to this national nonprofit.
