She said he sent her “a string of unwanted / unsolicited pornographic images of himself.” Despite this, the two developed a romantic relationship and collaborated on two film projects, including a documentary titled Chronicles Of Disney.

According to Zhou, the relationship became strained during a meeting at Renner’s residence in Reno, Nevada, where they were discussing logistics for their documentary. She described Renner drinking alone and shouting angrily for two hours:
“I was discussing about the doc logistics, then he drank a bottle of wine alone and got angry and angry yelling for two hours.”
Feeling unsafe, Zhou reportedly shared her location with her team, family, and Disney colleagues for security. She said she had to lock herself in a room to protect herself, fearing that Renner might enter while angry:
“I did not say a word, I was so scared for my life.”
