Jeremy Renner accused of threatening to "call ICE" on ex-girlfriend Yi Zhou
Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou has spoken publicly about her past relationship with actor Jeremy Renner, alleging that he engaged in threatening and inappropriate behavior during and after their time together.
In interviews and social media posts, Zhou claimed the Oscar-nominated actor sent her explicit photos and videos, verbally lashed out while intoxicated, and once threatened to “call ICE” following their breakup.
“Renner first contacted me directly in June, sending personal and intimate photographs of himself, behaviour that, according to public reports, he has exhibited before,” Zhou said in one of a series of Instagram posts.
“He convinced me of his sincerity, saying he had been single for a long time and open to a long-term relationship,” Zhou continued. “I believed in him, in the power of love and in the possibility of redemption.”
Zhou further alleged that Renner had signed written agreements with her production company but later refused to promote their collaborative projects, publicly denying both personal and professional ties.
