Liberia Launches 2025 National Rice Harvesting Season
The Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Agriculture, has launched the 2025 National Rice Harvesting Season in Sehyikepa, Nimba County.
The event, led by Agriculture Minister Dr. Alexander Nuetah, marks a major milestone under the
"Liberians Feed Yourselves Agenda", aiming to boost local rice production, reduce dependence on imports, and strengthen national food self-sufficiency.
