The National Service of Remembrance will take place on Sunday, 9 November 2025, at the Cenotaph on Whitehall, London. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. and honor the service and sacrifice of British and Commonwealth military personnel, as well as civilians who participated in both world wars and later conflicts.
The event is coordinated by the Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) with support from government departments, the Armed Forces, and veterans' organisations.
No tickets or passes are required for this event. Members of the public are welcome to observe the ceremony from the pavements along Whitehall and Parliament Street. Entry may be restricted if the viewing areas become full.
All attendees will undergo security checks upon arrival. Visitors are encouraged to allow extra time and follow directions from event staff and security personnel.
“The service will commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women involved in the two world wars and later conflicts.”
