Exeter Woman Averts Disaster at Greek Airport
A potential disaster at a European airport has been averted thanks to the intervention of Faye Williams, an Exeter businesswoman.
Williams, who runs events company Bar Nova, was returning to the UK from Corfu Airport with her family when they became caught up in huge crowds trying to catch flights.
She’s been dubbed a hero by other passengers and the captain of her airline after helping with crowd control.
Williams took action when a woman in front of her began to feel unwell, recognizing the situation was becoming dangerous.
