Meta, formerly Facebook, has signed two long-term power purchase agreements for utility-scale solar projects in Louisiana, totaling 385 MW of capacity.
Both projects, developed by Treaty Oak Clean Energy, are expected to reach operations in Q3 2027 and will support regional reliability and Meta's decarbonization strategy.
The energy from both projects will contribute to Meta’s broader operations and decarbonization strategy.
Meta has procured over 3 GW of solar energy in 2025 alone, demonstrating its commitment to renewable energy.
