Barry G, dubbed the "King of Radio", was the first to broadcast from parties and events globally. He was a regular emcee at Reggae Sunsplash.
His interest in radio began in his teenage years at Kingston College. After graduating, he joined the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation (JBC) in 1975 as a producer.
