Football Thursday Night: RCHS Defense Shines in Win Over Hokes Bluff

RCHS running back Mo Winston had a standout performance, running for 170 yards and a touchdown, and also scoring on a 100-yard kickoff return, in the Tigers' 25-7 win over Hokes Bluff.

The RCHS defense continued its strong form, allowing only 7 points, with the lone score coming from a first-half pick six. This marks the team's second consecutive shutout, with the exception of the pick six.

Mo Winston went over 2,000 yards for the second straight season, carrying 22 times for 170 yards and a touchdown.

The Tigers' defense outperformed Hokes Bluff, a team that had put up solid efforts against 4A powerhouses like Anniston, Cherokee County, and Alexandria.
