Braden Currie, a multiple IRONMAN winner, has announced his retirement from the sport after 16 years at the top.
Triathlon royalty, including his peers, have been paying tributes to Currie, who has had a successful swim, bike, and run career.
In over a decade of elite racing, Currie amassed 51 wins and 72 podiums across 92 endurance events.
