San Jose Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky has yet to finalize a decision on whether to keep defenseman Sam Dickinson in the NHL or return him to the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League.
Dickinson, who has played eight NHL games, expressed his desire to stay with the Sharks, citing the opportunity to learn from the team's coaches, staff, and players.
I think for anybody, being here, you learn more just with everything that’s here. The coaches, the people, and the players, there’s just more to be learned here for anybody.
Dickinson's fellow rookie, center Michael Misa, has played six NHL games.
