Dutch Election Results
The 2025 Dutch general election has concluded with nearly all votes counted, resulting in a tight competition between Rob Jetten's D66 and Geert Wilders' Party for Freedom (PVV).
With only a few thousand votes separating the two parties, they have each secured 26 out of 150 seats, marking the closest margin in Dutch history.
- D66 and PVV are currently tied with 26 seats each.
- Geert Wilders' PVV holds a slight lead with approximately 1,300 votes, based on 99.6% of counted votes.
Despite the narrow margin, Rob Jetten is seen as the winner of this year's election campaign and appears on the front of newspapers.
The narrow margin may delay the revelation of the largest party for several days, according to reports from NOS.
