Eddie Glaude Jr.'s Response to MAGA
Eddie Glaude Jr. suggests a simple phrase to challenge President Donald Trump and his MAGA followers: "You're lying."
"When Trump supporters make false claims about their 'biblical' values, Christians should be the ones asking, 'Where is that in the book?'"
Glaude urges Christians to refute false claims made by Trump supporters on Christian grounds, and to respond to ideologies such as seven mountains theology and prosperity gospel.
"Within the context of faith, the Christian tradition, those who claim the mantle of Christianity as a justification for Trump’s descendants, they must be met with a forceful refutation … on Christian grounds."
Glaude made these comments at a conference in New York City on October 22.
