Bluffton University Program Renamed
Bluffton University has announced that its Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SLPA) program will now be known as Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD).
The new name reflects the university's commitment to aligning with national standards in the field and preparing students for advanced study and meaningful careers in communication and hearing health.
"The updated program name better represents the breadth of learning and experience our students gain—from foundational coursework in speech and hearing science to hands-on clinical practice,"said Dr. Gayle Trollinger, vice president of academic affairs.
