Planned Route Cancellations for Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry

Riders of the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry route are advised to plan ahead for a series of cancellations early next year.

Washington State Ferries has announced a timeline for construction work affecting the route, which includes repairing and repositioning the Mukilteo terminal's west wing wall, damaged in 2022 from a rough landing.

The repairs will require a crane to be moved into the slip, driving piles deeper into the sea floor, and as the terminal has only one slip, ferries cannot run during this time.

No specific dates have been announced, but the cancellations are expected to occur during the first two full weeks of January and February.
