Jake Patterson, Former London Knights Goalie, Passes Away at 31
Patterson, a key player in back-to-back OHL championships, is remembered for his exceptional talent and generous spirit.
The hockey community is mourning the loss of Jake Patterson, a Sault Ste. Marie native and former London Knights goaltender.
- Patterson died suddenly on October 16 at the age of 31.
- He is survived by his partner, Chelsea, and their three-and-a-half-year-old son, Luca.
Patterson developed his skills through local programs, including the Sault Ste. Marie North Stars and Soo Greyhounds AAA programs.
He was selected by the Plymouth Whalers in the seventh round of the 2010 OHL Priority Selection and went on to make a significant impact with the London Knights.
His talent and composure in goal stood out from a young age.
