Indian Coast Guard Warns Fishermen of Cyclone Montha
The Indian Coast Guard has reached out to fishermen at sea, advising them to return to the shores or nearest harbours immediately due to the impending Cyclone Montha.
A fresh Low Pressure Area formed over the Bay has become Well Marked and is expected to intensify into a Depression and Cyclonic Storm by October 27, bringing heavy rains to North coastal and North Interior districts of Tamil Nadu and some Cauvery delta region districts.
- 19 bus passengers and a motorcyclist were killed in a road accident in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.
