Tom Izzo Criticizes NCAA Decision
Michigan State college basketball coach Tom Izzo has expressed dissatisfaction with the NCAA's decision to allow G League players to return and play college basketball.
A recent example is Louisville's commitment to guard London Johnson, who played in the NBA G League for three seasons.
- Johnson originally joined the G League out of high school to play for the G League Ignite program.
- After the program folded, he played for the Maine Red Claws and Cleveland Charge, averaging 3.1 points per game.
